Vocal Play Lab: Corporate Retreats & Team-Building Sessions
Reconnecting teams through voice, play, and presence.*
Vocal Play Lab offers a refreshing and unforgettable experience for corporate teams looking to recharge, reconnect, and rediscover creativity together. Using the power of spontaneous sound, group rhythm, and playful voice work, we help teams break through the usual patterns and experience true collaboration in a whole new way.
These sessions are not about performance—they’re about presence, connection, and play. No singing experience is required. In fact, most participants are surprised at how fun and freeing it is to use their voices outside of a traditional work context.
Through guided vocal improvisation, rhythm play, and group sound-building, your team will:
— Strengthen communication and deep listening
— Build trust and creative risk-taking
— Release stress and invite laughter
— Foster a culture of belonging and non-judgment
Whether part of a full retreat or a one-hour breakout session, this experience invites individuals to tap into creativity, connection, and a deeper sense of shared purpose.
What’s Included:
— Interactive group vocal games and rhythm challenges
— Body-based grounding and breathwork
— Reflection time for personal insight and group discussion
— Optional takeaway prompts to carry insights back to the workplace

Meet Heather Rene
Heather Rene is a seasoned vocalist with over 40 years of experience in teaching, directing, arranging, and guiding singers of all kinds to unlock their fullest potential. Throughout her career, she has cultivated a passion for helping individuals discover the power and freedom in their voices, regardless of their background or experience.
With a deep commitment to exploring the stories we tell ourselves about our voices, Heather encourages vocalists to challenge societal judgments about singing and embrace it as a playful, creative energy. She believes that singing is not only an artistic expression but also a tool for healing, and she loves to guide her students through the process of exploring their voices with curiosity and joy.
Through circle singing, vocal improvisation, and a focus on embodiment, Heather creates a safe and supportive space where participants can experiment, expand their abilities, and attune to the present moment. Her teaching emphasizes the importance of both listening and singing, helping singers develop dual focus as they connect with each other in harmony.
Heather is passionate about helping people heal from the limiting stories they may have internalized about their voices and embrace spontaneous, joyful expression. She is dedicated to creating spaces where voices are free to play, grow, and express the soul’s truest desires.
